Clinic was over yesterday, so today was a day to explore or relax. I chose to go on the canopy walk, which involved us walking 150 m up in the air between the tree tops. We took a boat to get there which took us through the smaller tributaries of the amazon. This allowed us to view the rainforest from up close. The view while walking on the canopy was spectacular – we saw green trees as far as the eye could see.
Later we went to a Botanical garden where a Shiaman taught us about the different plants he uses to help diseases/ailments. I was grateful that he took the time to share that information with us as there are many different plants in the jungle with benefits that we are not aware of in the USA yet.
