Today was the first day of clinic. The buses took us to the hospital where we had set up the day before. The line of people waiting to be seen stretched around the block. The mayor greeted us as we were coming off the bus and the military was present to organize all the patients.
Some people had been waiting since 3 in the morning to receive care. The pediatric unit was busy the whole day. Some missionaries from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints volunteered their entire day to come help us. We are so grateful to all our translators! They make it very easy to do our jobs and help many more people.
