Wow, what can I say?!? There is so much to tell… the patients…the clinic…the learning experience…Amazing on every aspect. I will have to say though, my favorite experience so far has been a 15 minute boat ride… yup, a boat ride.
Traveling always make me put my own life into perspective… How fortunate I am to have the things I have, or the wonderful people I have in my life.. And how i shouldn’t complain if there is traffic on I-75 or I have a lot of studying to do…Silly frivolous things…
The people on the amazon are very poor… poor, but wealthy in happiness and pride.
Yesterday, the 14th of August marketed a great day at clinic. We saw over two hundred patients in a small village right off the Amazon river…I believe we helped a lot of people.. and hopefully changed some lives.. The ride back from clinic I was so happy.. happy thinking that I could help someone out like that. It makes me proud to be a part of this trip and proud to be associated with such a great group of people…
