Laura’s Post

Now that the study abroad medical mission is ending I would say my favorite clinical days were ones I was able to perform procedures including knee injections, arm injections, fluid aspiration from an arm lesion, hemoglobin check and ultrasounds. Of all the excursions done during the trip I would say my favorite was the last day during the canopy tour. I had never done a canopy tour before and the sights were gorgeous. During this trip I learned a lot, both medically and culturally. This trip was my first study abroad and was definitely a good experience overall for me.
